Our Guarantee

 

We offer a guarantee on all works completed by DTE Mechanics.

For general servicing our guarantee is for 6 months or 10,000kms, whichever comes first.

For repairs we offer a 12 month warranty on all new parts and workmanship provided by DTE Mechanics.

Consumer Guarantee

 

Have a new car and are worried about voiding your warranty period? Don’t worry, there are many people who are not certain about who they can and can’t see to keep their new car warranty intact. Most new car owners are not adequately informed by their car dealership as to their consumer rights that protect their new vehicle warranty.

Australian Consumer Law provides automatic guarantee’s for your new vehicle that the dealer or manufacturer must adhere too. The ACCC describes your new car warranty as being divided in to two parts; Consumer Guarantee and Manufacturers and Extended warranties. In fact, your manufacturers and extended warranties may add to your automatic rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
